I am the wife of an amazing man and the mother to 3 great kids. I am 35-40 yrs old, brown hair (most of the time) blue eyes. I stand about 5'2".
I'm very sarcastic and usually make "light" out of things. That's not to say I joke all the time. I don't. But I do through a funny spin on a lot of things. I also swear - sometimes a lot. I try to curb it, but sometimes, it's just not possible. I also use a lot of analogy's. I don't know why. But I'm constantly saying, "That's like...." and then filling in my own comparison.
Although we are a religious family, this is not the place to debate religion (even though I may mention something regarding church that doesn't mean it's up for debate) or politics. The purpose of this blog is to try to keep me out of trouble.
I am far from perfect. My life is far from perfect. But this is my life. The ups and the downs. If you're looking for all sunshine and flowers, this is probably not the best place for you to stop. In the words of another blogger, "...life isn't all rainbows and roses. It quite literally takes plenty of shit to grow flowers..." and my life has plenty of that in it too - which I'll be sharing, right along with the flowers.
My parents divorced before I was 5. My mom never remarried, my father remarried when I was about 11 or so. After the divorce, my mom moved us (her, my brother and I) back to her (and now my) home town. It's a tiny town. Like dirt roads, tiny. Like the small mom and pop store closes a 6 p.m., tiny. Like the nearest fast food is 30 minutes away, tiny. Like the nearest mall is 2 1/2 hours away, tiny. You get the idea. I grew up there and then moved away when I was about 22.
There's so much to say, but then I'd rather save it for a post. So you can read the labels marked "About me" if you so feel inclined to learn more about me.
